What are Avii’s document storage options?
Avii customers can store files natively on Avii Workspace in Azure Cloud.

Firms can store up to 3 GB per Licensed User at no additional fee above the Avii Workspace License Fee, and can pool this storage allowance across all Licensed Users in their firm.

Avii customers can pay for additional storage above that limit at a rate of $0.25/GB per month, shared across their firm, billed monthly.

Avii encourages firms to use Microsoft SharePoint® or Box® as their primary Document Management System. Avii Workspace has full integration with both solutions. Learn more about Avii Document Management System.

What database models do we offer?
Avii offers two database modes: Shared (or multi) tenancy or single tenancy.

In a shared tenancy model, the firm's data is in a database alongside other firms' data. All data access requests are filtered automatically by the software, so the firm and its users will only ever see data related to their firm. Most SaaS applications follow this model.

Avii also offers a single-tenant model. In this model, Avii stores the firm's data in an independent database that only contains that firm's data. Some firms' IT departments require this for hosted software. The single-tenant model also allows us to scale the performance of the database for the firm independent of other firms' activities. The single-tenant model is required if the firm elects to store documents in an external source such as Sharepoint® or Box®. Both models are secure and performant.
